Danny Casey Classic
to support cancer patients and survivors & to fund a memorial scholarship
FUNDRAISING INFORMATION:
There are many ways to support the Danny Casey Classic. All are welcome and encouraged to attend the event, to bid in the silent auction, or to donate items for the silent auction.

In 2009, funds raised at the Danny Casey Classic will support both cancer patient and survivor programs through Dana Farber Cancer Institute, as well as a scholarship in Danny's name at Glastonbury High School.
In past years, funds were raised to support the cancer survivors camp run by the David B. Perini, Jr. Quality of Life Clinic at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. The Casey family and the event organizers believe it is critical to provide medical and social support to survivors because of the multiple risks posed by late effects from cancer treatments.
Since 2005, players in the game have also raised money to support a scholarship in Danny's name for a graduating Glastonbury High School senior who, like Danny, used the lessons learned in special education in pursuit of his future plans.
Except for portions of player fees, the Danny Casey Classic donates all of its fundraising proceeds (over 90%) to the organizations mentioned above.
